Low Tide: Talim Pt. Batangas

When you hear the word "BEACH", you think Sun. Sand. Water.
But what if you went to a beach where you have Sun and Sand... but no water?
I bet after one look you'd turn back, dismayed.

Talim Pt., located in Lian Batangas, is one of those places.  High tide at night, Low Tide by day.  So when you have sun, you have sand but no water.  Well, technically you do have water but it's miles away from the shore that you have to walk almost to the trench to get to it.

After two days spent in this place, I found myself dismayed, NOT by the loss of water, but by the thought of leaving such a wonderful place.  Why? Here's a glimpse of the 'chances' I found in those two days....

"It's the chance to understand and appreciate the beauty and the sound of nature beyond vast waves."
No waves at shore... just calm water and the sound of nature.
Walking Along the Tranquil Beach

"Once you get over the thought of 'No Water', you suddenly realize it's a chance to discover what's underneath... and can be seen from underneath."

Simple yet wonderful rock formations
A view of the mountains from a seaweed perspective
These are actually corals.. if you look closely, you can already see the trench
Finally, "it's the chance to photograph from a different perspective."

Here are a couple of Bangka (small boat) shots taken while simply sitting down on the sand...

Never let expectation hinder you from the opportunity for creativity and inspiration.

The world is such an awesome place! :)
